hâteau BEGOT, managed by Joachim HAAS, a young winegrower, is located in the heart of the Côtes de Bourg appellation.This estate, which has been exploited for several generations, has managed to preserve its old vines. Its facing south land is made up of clay, limestone and yellow gravel. The vineyard is mainly composed of Merlot supplemented by Cabernet-Franc, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Malbec. This diversity makes it possible to produce generous, complex and qualitative wines. Joachim is so concerned about the environment and respect for consumers that he attaches a great importance to working in sustainable agriculture. The vines are weeded with a plow, he only uses organic products and has installed sex hormone boxes to fight against insect pests. 

Since 2019, Château BEGOT has obtained the HVE3 label and the vineyard is in organic conversion: "Organic Label harvest 2023".
