Château Tuquet Monceau is in Saint Vivien in the “Purple” Perigord, halfway between Saint-Émilion and Bergerac. It’s run by Cécile and Eric Goubault de Brugière, who were independent winegrowers in 2000 and converted to organic wine production in 2012. The house is perched on its mound, which is the meaning of the Occitan word “tuquet” that appears in the estate’s name.
