Domainede Joÿ
In 1927, Paul Gessler left Switzerland and moved to Joÿ in Gascony. He distilled his first armagnac in 1929. In 1946, his son Paul planted new vines. In the 80’s, Olivier and Roland industrialised production. Today, the fourth generation of the family is established with Vanessa set up in 2014, and Kévin and Gaël. Out of 150 hectares (370 acres) of vines, 10 (25 acres) are used to make red and rosé wines. Both our wines and armagnacs are festive, fruity and easy to enjoy. For ten years, we have been certified for “rational agriculture”.
